Hi, my name is Aces, and I'm a gorgeous sable, nine month old male GSD puppy who was surrendered by my original owner who only had me for two weeks, but she quickly realized she wasn't going to be able to meet my needs. She found that, as young as I am, I was barking and lunging on walks. She knew that now is such a crucial time to work with me on obedience and socialization and she wasn't able to make the commitment of time and resources, so she asked FRGSR if they could help me and they said, YES! I've done great with both large and small dogs, but I need someone who will commit to training me so that I'll grow up to be a well balanced adult dog. I was living in a foster home with two other dogs AND TWO CATS, and I did great! I was curious, but respectful, of the kitties. I'm house trained, working on being crate trained and I'm fine-tuning my leash walking skills. I know "sit" and my foster mom taught me some other commands. I'm going to be a big, strong, smart boy and I would benefit from having a confident, active adopter. Update: I was adopted out a few months ago and returned for the exact same reason the original owner gave up on me. My owners thought they had the skill set to meet my needs, but I was one step ahead of them, so they returned me. I need a GSD savvy adopter with strong leadership skills who has a solid plan to work with me on my behaviors and obedience, which will require time, commitment and resources.
