Hi, my name is Penguin or Quinn for short. I am a handsome 3.5 yr old GSD who was transferred to FRGSR from a shelter where I arrived after being found running loose, and the person who found me couldn't keep me when my owner couldn't be found. I've been living in a foster home with a skilled handler and my foster mom says that I'm a very smart and super sweet boy. I LOVE going for walks and I engage with my handler as she gives me various commands. I listen really well and I SOOOO want to please! I've learned to walk well on a leash, and I'm crate-trained and house-trained. I'm learning how to play with toys and I'm having lots of fun! I do have a very high prey drive with small critters, including small dogs, likely cats, etc. Until now, I've not been well socialized with other dogs, and when I encounter them, I can get barky and over-stimulated. I'm making progress, but I still need work in this area. If you are looking for a sweet boy who loves adventures, and you're willing to continue working with my obedience and dog socialization, please submit an online application. My adoption fee is $400.
