Hi, my name is Truffle, and I'm a handsome 1.5yr old male GSD who was transferred from a shelter where I arrived as a stray and nobody came to claim me. When I first arrived in the rescue, I was defensive and on edge. I've been living in a foster home with a strong leader and two other GSDs, and I've learned to let my guard down. My foster dad works with me every day before and after work and he's really pleased with the progress I've made. I'm not a chewer and I don't cause issues with the two other dogs in the house. Because of my foster dad's leadership skills, I've been able to know what the rules are and I know what's expected of me, which has helped me to relax. I'm looking for an adopter with the same skill set - someone who will provide me with leadership, consistency and a good dose of exercise every day. My adoption fee is $400. Update: I've had some tummy issues for which I'm currently undergoing treatment. I may do best in a home with someone who isn't gone all day.
